Shaw Contract received 600 Design Awards submissions this year, narrowed to 37 regional finalists and reviewed by an esteemed panel of jurors.

The certification accreditation program is for experienced tile and stone professionals who have a minimum of two years full time on-the-job experience within their respective tile or stone industry.

The Jungle Tile Collection features two 12” x 24” tiles with Ghislaine’s tropical print designed to repeat for a large-scale continuous pattern. 

Stephanie Landers of Landers Premier Flooring in Austin, Texas, and Paul Deschenes of Schneider's Flooring America in Vernon, Connecticut, were selected to join the group, representing the perspective of Flooring America's retail members to the leadership team. 

To be considered for this honor, nominees were required to have a minimum of 15 years of installation experience and must still be setting tile today. They were evaluated on artistry, technical correctness, problem solving, continuing education, and mentoring or leading others.

The company reports that the market has been struggling with overcapacity for several years, caused by a shift in consumer preference towards alternative flooring types such as laminate, LVT and vinyl.

The Shaw Flooring Network convention takes place January 15 – 18, 2023, at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida, and marks the first time in four years that all of Shaw’s aligned retailers are invited to come together in person. 

Retailers will see more flooring featuring Signature Technology across the Mohawk, Pergo and Karastan brands in 2023 to help them grow sales and expand margins, the company said.
