Armstrong World Industries, Inc. announced that Michael Lockhart will be stepping down as Armstrong’s chief executive and president, and as chairman of the board and a director, effective Feb. 28.

Two Texas flooring retailers announced today they have merged. Scott Steel, owner of three My Flooring America floor covering stores in the Houston region, and Kelby Frederick, owner of two Flooring America operations in the Dallas area, said they merged their family owned-and-operated stores on Jan. 1.
