MAPEI presents Opticolor, a non-sag grout for fast-track construction. According to the company, Opticolor allows foot traffic in six to eight hours with no sealing required. The product can be applied to walls, floors and countertops in both wet and dry areas.

ApliCAD presents its software for room design, ApliCAD Interior. According to the company, ApliCAD Interior enables users to visualize selected room products, and allows for virtual laying out of wall and floor materials such as tiles, marble and wood.

Ultrabond 980 is the newest addition to MAPEI’s adhesive lineup. Ultrabond 980 is designed to grab and hold boards in place during installation, notes the company. Engineered for residential and commercial use, the product is VOC-compliant and contains no ozone-depleting chemicals, MAPEI says.

Tramex’s new multi-purpose moisture meter, CMExpert, combines nondestructive moisture and humidity measurement for concrete, gypsum and other slabs and screeds, the company says. The product also features a plug-in probe for wood moisture content measurement.

Laticrete has launched FahrenHEAT, a new floor warming system that uses a self-adhesive mesh and wire backing. According to the company, FahrenHEAT is designed for easy thin-set installation, and carries Laticrete’s Lifetime Residential Warranty.

Interceramic’s new InDesign collection includes Oxide, a glazed-colored porcelain floor tile. Oxide’s look emulates the natural patina of oxidized metal. The product is designed to coordinate with the complete InDesign Collection.

Tau Ceramica has launched Metal Stone, a ceramic tile collection combining the look of natural stone with a metallic sheen. Colors in the line include dark steel, white rhodium, silver grey and copper rusty looks.

Roca presents its third generation of Rock & Rock products with the introduction of Tallado. This is a process which ensures that each piece is cut up before entering the kiln, and aims to allow greater flexibility in sizes.

Artemis, a subsidiary of Vitromex USA, introduces Damascato. The porcelain line is available in Walnut, Steel, Sandstone and Stone White using “roto colors” for a distinct look, the company says. Damascato is offered in 20” by 20”, 13” by 13”, and a pressed 6.5” by 6.5”, as well as a cut floor bullnose, 2” by 2” mesh mounted mosaic, v cap and quarter round.

Questech’s new tumbled marble tiles feature Q-Seal, a factory-applied sealer that is formulated to protect against water and staining for the life of the product. The company describes Q-Seal as a permanent coating that never needs to be reapplied.
