American Tile Nears Complete Ownership of Delivery Truck Fleet

According to Bob Hendon, vice president and general manager of American Tile and Stone, the company is nearing a complete conversion to a totally company-owned fleet of delivery trucks.

American Tile and Stone is nearing a complete conversion to a totally company-owned fleet of delivery trucks, according to Bob Hendon, vice president and general manager.

Currently the company owned portion is 90% of the total fleet, with the goal of being 100% by mid-2015. “Having our own trucks enables us to have complete control of our scheduling without any compromise and will be a critical factor as we expand our distribution area,” said Hendon. “It’s another great milestone in this our 50th anniversary year.”
