Home builder market index falls in July

NEW YORK-- The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) recently announced its July housing market index declined two points to 56, on a weakening job market and a slowing economy.

Among the components of the index, the rating for single-family home sales decreased to 61 from 63. Expectations of single-family sales in the next six months fell two points to 66.
