Artisans Revolution in Tile (ART), the Premiere Tile Artisans Training event, was held in Milwaukee on June 19-23.

The next Basic Floorcovering Installation program will start August 14 at Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) in Dalton, Georgia. Admissions deadline is July 24. 

NTCA is offering 10 three-hour workshops, four full-day regional training events, and one two-day Art Glass Panel training nationwide in July.

The Flooring Contractors Association (FCICA) will hold a "3 Days to CIM" certification training event in Suwanee, Georgia, August 16-18, 2023, at the Atlanta Flooring Design Center. 

Floor Trends was on site for the first retailer-led, five-week International Certified Flooring Installers (CFI) training in Grand Rapids, Michigan, hosted by DeGraaf Interiors. Five students received scholarships through the Floor Covering Education Foundation (FCEF) with the other half of the tuition covered by DeGraaf and another area retailer. 

Coverings, North America’s annual event for the ceramic tile and natural stone industry, has released on-demand content from select learning sessions recorded live at Coverings 2023, which was held in Orlando in April.  

The Dalton/Whitfield Latino Leadership Institute was created as an opportunity to develop and empower future Latin American leaders and advocates for the Latin American community in Northwest Georgia. 

Through a newly formed partnership, Go Carrera and the Floor Covering Education Foundation are expanding efforts to recruit and train new installers while simultaneously ensuring that these new folks track their progress, build their skills, and are able to easily connect with flooring and installation companies in need of skilled labor.

Infinity Drain has launched a new online CEU in partnership with Floor Trends' sister brand Architectural Record. The new course, “Universal Design Incorporating Architectural Linear Drains,” delves into designing buildings and spaces for all people, with or without disabilities.
