Armstrong will initiate a price increase in the U.S. and Canada on commercial vinyl composition tile and BioBased tile by 4%, commercial wall base by 4% and select residential tile products including Units, Afton and Classic tile by 5%, effective with shipments on Jan.1, 2015.
Due to raw material costs and underlying inflation of wages, benefits, energy and transportation, Armstrong will initiate a 4% price increase in the United States and Canada on Standard Vinyl Composition Tile products, effective with shipments on Feb. 3, 2014.
Mannington Mills announced that it will be implementing a price increase of up to 6 percent on all engineered wood floors, moldings and wood adhesives effective with shipments on January 1, 2014.
“Although Unilin continues to take steps to mitigate the impact of increased costs, raw material costs have continued to rise on select lumber and veneer species,” said Shane Calloway, vice president of North American independent distribution sales for Unilin.
Mohawk announces it will increase prices on select Mohawk brand solid and engineered hardwood products on orders and shipments made on or after October 21, 2013.
Armstrong announced that it will initiate a 3-10% increase in the United States and Canada on select solid hardwood products – mostly wider width and non oak species – and on select engineered hardwood products effective with shipments on September 13, 2013.

Mohawk announces it will raise prices on all Mohawk brand solid and select engineered hardwood flooring products up to 7%, effective on all orders placed on or after August 5, 2013.
Armstrong today announced that it will initiate a 5-7% increase in the United States and Canada on all solid hardwood and on select engineered hardwood products effective with shipments on July 15, 2013.
