Board members of the Floor Covering Education Foundation (FCEF) are meeting in Chattanooga, Tennessee, this week to discuss progress of the installer recruitment campaign and the executive committee’s plans for 2022. 

Year-to-date the company has opened 20 new warehouse stores, bringing the total to 153 warehouse stores operating in 33 states.

The Floor Covering Education Foundation (FCEF) is a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating the crisis in the floor covering industry caused by the lack of qualified and trained installers.

Upon completion of the program, graduates officially become employees of the Bay View Flooring team. 

The FCI Installation Awards honor the most creative installers and interesting installations in a range of flooring categories, in both residential and commercial settings.

The hard-surface retailer opens locations in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and Rancho Cucamonga, California.

The NERF Legacy Scholarship program honors individuals who made significant contributions throughout their lives to advance the wood flooring industry.

The new site has added more than 25 training videos. 

Introduced in 2013, award winners covet the recognition of being honored as an award winner by their industry peers.

The new mobile-friendly site helps flooring installers specify and install the right products for any size project.
