Tarkett, along with other Cradle to Cradle sponsor companies, will initiate a new education series for architects and designers that focuses on regenerative design titled, “Circular Economy, Cradle to Cradle, and the Built Environment.”
The series of regional workshops, webinars and newsletters will also capture Tarkett's Cradle to Cradle process in a unique narrative series called, “The Path to Positive,” examining how Tarkett applies Cradle to Cradle principles to alter products and processes in order to reduce environmental impact, induce social change and improve human health.
This sponsorship of the Cradle 2 Cradle Product Innovation Institute (C2CPII) is an extension of Tarkett’s commitment to bringing human and environmental wellness to the forefront of architecture and design.
C2CPII is a non-profit organization that “educates and empowers manufacturers of consumer products to become a positive force for society and the environment, helping to bring about a new industrial revolution.”
“With its ongoing dedication to product optimization and improvement under Cradle to Cradle principles, Tarkett is helping to lead the building products industry to a more sustainable future while providing practitioners with the tools they need to design safer, healthier buildings,” said Lewis Perkins, president of C2CPII. “Through this latest sponsorship, Tarkett is demonstrating a commitment not only to maximizing its own Cradle to Cradle investment, but also to educating stakeholders and key audiences on the importance and application of third-party-verified, healthy, sustainable products.”
