The Flooring Contractors Association (FCICA) will host the Generation Next-Strategies for Attracting & Retaining Youth in the Construction Industry Webinar on Thursday, May 26 at 11 a.m. EST.
Presented by Graham Capobianco, technical application specialist at Roppe Holding Co., the Webinar will help construction industry personnel understand the severity of skilled-labor shortages within the industry and learn how to implement processes and practices that can help attract and retain young professionals to stem the tide of growing retirement and attrition.
By reviewing the common characteristics of each generation within the current workforce and how different industry and educational trends have affected skilled-labor employment and the retention of young talent in the industry, we can then analyze labor statistics and trends regarding construction industry employee attrition to understand the severity of this problem, according to the association.
The Webinar will also discuss practices and processes that help attract and retain young professionals. This will include modern hiring processes, talent management, employee development, company culture changes and education or training practices.
This is an American Institute of Architects (AIA) Approved Continuing Education System (CES) Webinar.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, May 25 at 3 p.m. EST.
