Florida Tile starts the new year with MyBrick HDP, a new high-definition porcelain collection for indoor or outdoor use that features the look of exposed brick in porcelain stoneware.
According to Sean Cilona, director of marketing and product development, “MyBrick HDP offers a unique combination of style and technology for a wide range of design applications. It was intended to be versatile enough to complement design styles from classic to contemporary.”
“Thanks to the technical and aesthetic characteristics of our HDP-High Definition Porcelain printing technology, MyBrick HDP can deliver an uncompromising level of variation and color within each of the four main colors, Liverpool, Bristol, London and Dover,” Cilona says. “This includes an array of natural colors that recreate the typical shades found in traditional brick, such as warm reds, golden yellow, creamy white and pale gray.”
Because individual pieces are sized in 12x22-inch interlocking panels, the wall pattern allows for an offset installation that is virtually indistinguishable from a natural brick-at-a-time installation, said the company.
Cilona notes that MyBrick HDP is frost- and stain-resistant, durable because of its porcelain construction and requires no added treatment or maintenance.
“Not only is this porcelain wall tile line appropriate for all interior and exterior wall and backsplash applications, it also is appoved for both residential and commercial settings,” he adds.
According to the company, MyBrick HDP is made of 40% pre-consumer recycled content and is GREENGUARD and Porcelain Tile Certified. This product also will contribute to USGBC LEED points and the ANSI-approved NAHB Green Building Points.
