This fall, Restoration Industry Association (RIA) is hosting a selection of live certification events. In an effort to help further restoration careers, RIA is making the Certified Restorer (CR) and Water Loss Specialist (WLS) certification process simpler by offering candidates the opportunity to complete a CR or WLS prerequisite course this year. 
 
2015 RIA Project & Risk Management Course

After completing the RIA Project and Risk Management course, attendees will understand the four phases of the project life cycle, the activities associated with each and the tools and documentation used to manage projects and identify risks.
 
WLS Prep Course

If you are pursuing your Water Loss Specialist certification, the WLS Prep Course is the final course required for certification. Certified Mold Professional Prep Course & Exam

RIA's Certified Mold Professional Prep Course and Exam is the last step for those looking to obtain their CMP certification. The three-day prep course will focus on general inspection procedures for indoor contaminants. Candidates will be able to identify what is impacting the interior of a building and which general cleaning approaches would be appropriate for improving the indoor environment.
