Beaulieu Canada Inc. has announced that it will increase current base prices for all flooring products by a minimum of 4% and as high as 6%, effective Sept. 1.

 

“As one of only a very few Canadian manufacturers, Beaulieu Canada strives to invest significantly in new product development, expand product sourcing and continue to work diligently to streamline its operations and maintain costs,” said Mario Bergamin, executive vice president, residential sales. “Not withstanding these efforts, the continued weakening of the Canadian dollar against the US dollar continues to affect our raw material costs, specifically US sourced raw materials. You will understand that unlike product development and the streamlining of operations, currency fluctuations are beyond our control.”
