Capel Rugs' Jake Sweeters has been promoted to national sales manager.

In this role, Sweeters will be responsible for the management of Capel's national sales force—working with the regional sales managers to drive sales in their territories. He will be based in Norwalk, Conn.

Sweeters, who joined Capel in 2003, had been serving as Northeast regional manager, managing sales and sales training for accounts across New England, New York and New Jersey. Prior to joining Capel, he was with Mastercraft Rugs.

In addition to Sweeters' appointment, Capel has promoted Sylvia Williamson to sales coordinator.

Williamson joined Capel in 2000, most recently serving as sales administrator. In her new position, she will report to Sweeters.
