According to show officials, Domotex, which will take place Jan. 16 to 19 in Hannover, Germany, is 80% booked.
"Domotex 2016 will be a strong, international and innovative event. All indicators reveal a very favorable trend,” said Jochen Köckler, the member of the managing board at Deutsche Messe in charge of Domotex. “The exhibitors are committed to leveraging Domotex for success in 2016."
According to Köckler, some 1,400 exhibitors from 60 different countries will be heading to Hannover to showcase their products and new collections.
"For the upcoming show, one major visitor magnet is already certain: the Wood Flooring Summit," said Köckler. Staged in 2012 and 2014, this flagship dialogue hub and marketplace for the wood and laminate flooring segments is entering its third season. One key difference next year is that it will run alongside the Innovations@Domotex showcase in Hall 9. The organizers are expecting a lineup of around 200 exhibitors from the wood and laminate flooring segments, plus over 180 providers of application and installation technology.
A survey indicated that 95% of Domotex visitors are in favor of Innovations@Domotex being continued. “For exhibitors, this translates into large numbers of well-informed, genuinely interested visitors and qualified leads,” said Köckler. “And this is reason enough to enhance the showcase further still for Domotex 2016." Participation in Innovations@Domotex is free of charge for show exhibitors. In response to exhibitor requests, the submission deadline for product proposals has been extended to Nov. 3.
Domotex 2016 will also host the fifth European Competition for the Interior Furnishing Trades. Next year’s competition is dedicated to exploring Eastern influences on the Western way of life and interior design.
