Karndean Designflooring's LooseLay has been honored in the Architizer A+ Awards competition.
The Architizer A+ Awards program features over 90 categories for products and projects and represents innovative architecture and design worldwide.
According to an Architizer representative, Karndean's LooseLay LLP112 Hartford has been recognized for its quality and received special mention for the “Finishes: Flooring—Hard” category in this year’s competition. Selected amongst thousands of entries, Hartford was reviewed by an international jury of more than 300 architects, designers, cultural thought leaders and developers. The judges rate entries based on qualities including form, function and innovation.
Introduced in October, the product is one of six additions to the LooseLay collection. The rustic, lime-washed look of the planks provides a stunning weathered appearance and bold character for any space.
100% recyclable, according to the company, LooseLay’s friction grip backing and increased dimensional stability secures the floor firmly in place. Furthermore, the acoustic properties and environmental credentials make LooseLay an ideal flooring solution for commercial spaces.
