New from Mohawk's Chalet Vista collection of laminate flooring. |
Mohawk’s 2015 laminate introductions combine vintage appeal with longer and wider planks.
Mohawk’s Chalet Vista laminate collection features weathered oaks and maples in multi-width planks and single planks, as well as the 7½-inch wider width size.
“Whether consumers desire a smooth or textured finish, the Chalet Vista collection provides both options, said Paij Thorn-Brooks, Mohawk’s vice president of brand marketing.
The sophisticated appearance of reclaimed hardwood can be found in Mohawk's Rare Vintage collection, featuring heavily textured chestnuts and rustic oaks. These planks are also available in 7½-inch width and come on a 12mil platform.
“Rare Vintage will feature our ArmorMax Finish Technology,” added Thorn-Brooks. “Previously only available on select Mohawk’s hardwood products, retailers and consumers alike have raved about the finishing technology. The positive response led us to expand the technology to include Rare Vintage laminate.”
According to Thorn-Brooks, these made in U.S. collections feature the Uniclic glueless locking system, so installation is quick, easy and effective. In addition to guaranteeing no height differences, Uniclic allows floors to be walked on immediately after installation.
"Homeowners will have peace of mind as the latest collections boast limited lifetime residential warranty, five-year medium commercial warranty, AC4 wear rating, as well as NALFA and FloorScore certifications," added Thorn-Brooks.
