Armstrong's Architectural Remnants laminate flooring received a 2014 GOOD Design Award. |
Armstrong's Architectural Remnants laminate flooring and Tandus Centiva's Thin Lines and Code Series have taken top honors in the 2014 GOOD Design Awards.
The GOOD Design program is an international design award organized by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. Hundreds of entries from across the globe were submitted for consideration and judged by a panel of design professionals, industry specialists and design press.
"The GOOD Design designation affirms our commitment and purpose to create floor coverings that communicate better, simple, clear form and function," said Terry Mowers, Tandus' vice president of design, North America commercial products.
“[Architectural Remnants] offers extraordinary realism—from the variety of graining to the innovative mix of colors and species," said Mara Villanueva-Heras, Armstrong Residential Flooring. "It looks so much like genuine, reclaimed vintage hardwood, but with the durability and easy care one associates with quality laminates. We are proud that we were recognized for the combination of innovation, form, function and fun so important to today’s homeowner.”
