The sequence of brief but useful one-minute videos, launched on Halex websites, is a resource for all flooring installers as well as DIY homeowners. The videos also encourage viewers to ask Halex’s industry professionals questions and have them answered in later videos.

 

According to the company, new videos will be released weekly, starting with “Floored by VersaShield: An Introduction," which is about moisture in concrete slabs. The “Floored by VersaShield” series will cover topics from moisture testing and slab preparation to moisture remediation alternatives and planned flooring removal.

 

Another series, “Floored by Orcon,” will review best practices for carpet installation and offer tips for faster installations.

 

“We created these videos to share our collective experience with installers and others," said Mark Chichak, president and CEO of Halex. "Several of our guys started as installers, so we tapped into their knowledge. We’ve learned a lot—sometimes the hard way—so why not share it?”
