A bathroom in the Southern Living Idea House, which features Dal-Tile products. |
Dal-Tile product is featured throughout the Southern Living Idea House—from the kitchen countertops to the walls of the laundry room, to floor to ceiling looks in each of the bathrooms.
The guest bathroom, highlighted in the August print issue of the magazine, uses Dal-Tile's Color Wave glass tiles in Feather White on the vanity wall, and as inspiration for the palette. Dal-Tile's First Snow marble, installed on the countertop, has a creamy background with light gray veining that is picked up by the tiles. On the floor, 1x1 square Color Wave glass tiles are used to create an interesting rug effect in contrast to the larger marble tile.
Overall, almost a dozen different colors and collections were incorporated throughout the house, according to the company. Architect Ken Pursley and interior designer Suzanne Kasler drew their inspiration for the Bluffton, S.C., home’s design from the low-country surroundings. The home, designed as a haven for guests to entertain and unwind, is situated amid the state’s iconic palms and freshwater creeks.
