CBC Flooring has expanded its Halo Floors brand of luxury vinyl tile (LVT) by offering a PVC-free extension of the line called Halo Free.
Halo Free solidifies CBC Flooring’s position as the leader in offeringthe best options in PVC-free flooring to the commercial hard-surface flooring market.
The Halo Free product line has 28 SKUs of wood and stone designs, including classic 4” x 36” wood, an oversized rustic 6” x 48” wood, and a combination of 18”and 24” stone products. It is free of halogens, plasticizers and chlorine and is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality.
“We are excited to add to our collection of PVC-free products,” said Chip Braulick, director of flooring for CBC. “Halo Free makes it easy for designers to create bold, unique looks with the confidence that value and sustainability are not forgotten.”
Not only does the collection of designs and colors look great, they will stay looking great. Halo Free’s PET wear layer has improved wear, scratch resistance, scuff resistance and clarity. Tests show that Halo Free has up to a 70 percent reduction in Taber abrasion over traditional commercial LVT. And application of on-site floor finish is not required.
The line includes Wood, Stones & More and Something Different; Asento by Halo, focused on design without sacrificing performance; and now Halo Free.
