Featuring an attractive and simplified $499-per-room pricing offer, a $200 in-store coupon option and eye-catching POP, Shaw Floors’ “Dream it. Do it.” sale is being introducing for the 2012 fall season. Beginning October 1 and ending November 17, the renewed fall sale capitalizes on the fall buying season by providing exclusive discounts to Shaw customers.
“As consumers move into the fall season they’re looking to reenergize their home with new flooring that offers a fresh look for their space, and our price-leading fall promotion creates an incentive to make their dream renovation a reality,” said Kathy Young, director of marketing. “With our bright and bold POP, and the option for our dealer to use the per-room pricing offer or an enticing in-store coupon, they’ll have the tools they need to create a personalized selling approach with the Dream it Do it promotion.”
Building upon the popular "Dream it. Do it." theme, first introduced in 2011, Shaw has simplified the promotion offer to include a $499-per-room option for carpet, laminate and area rug purchases and a $699-per-room offer for hardwood floors, both of which are based on a recommended qualifying style list. Along with the attractive prices, Shaw will reach its customer base through unique and creative ways, such as advertising on the HGTV network, in top magazines like Traditional Home and Elle Decor, and on highly-targeted websites such as ThisOldHouse.com, and Houzz.com.
This sales-driving promotion will offer a robust POP kit, including posters, yard signs, tent cards and product tags. There are a variety of marketing and advertising tools available to help dealers craft tailored direct mail, TV, radio and print ads that will directly target their key customers.
For participating and qualifying dealers, incentives include co-op, credit buy downs and advertising material. In addition to the closing tools included in this campaign, participating retail sales associates will be incentivized through Capture the Spirit, Shaw’s custom training program for the retail sales associate. Additional details on retail sales associate incentives can be found on shawcts.com. Online training is available for both retailers and retail sales associates to help participants utilize the tools effectively and increase their closing ratio during the fall selling season.
