The Maryland and Northern Virginia Floor Covering Association (MDNVAFCA) will hold NFIC installation training and certification for tufted and woven wools, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 11-13 at Commercial Carpets of America/Alexandria Carpet One, 430 South Pickett St., Alexandria, Va.

Sponsored by the Delmarva Chapter of CFI, MDNVAFCA and the World Floor Covering Association, the training and testing sessions will include double glue installation, seam prep for Wiltons, diagrams and seam placement, EPA & OSHA considerations, Kool Glide iron certification, hand-sewing, proper pad with natural products, stairs, where to use the products, and more.
