John Sacco, LATICRETE SUPERCAP director of new business development, demonstrates the new pump truck technology at World of Concrete 2012.

LATICRETE SUPERCAP LLC, manufacturer of the self-leveling SUPERCAP System, officially unveiled what it called its "Next Generation Pump Truck" at the Las Vegas World of Concrete 2012 exposition, Jan. 24-27. The pump truck can finish new concrete or cap existing slabs by mixing material at the ground level and delivering it as high as 50 stories, according to the company.

According to John Sacco, LATICRETE SUPERCAP director of new business development, "It starts right from the concrete placement, Division 3, and flows all the way through to Division 9. The Next Generation Slab allows more concrete to be placed on a daily basis. No hard trowel finishing is needed. No unmixed materials ever enter the building, and the output is incredible, up to 30,000 pounds per hour."

"Additionally, and most importantly, all Division 9 flooring tolerances are achieved,” he added.

The system is a LEED-qualified, low alkali, self-leveling, cement-based technology that is installed using a patented computer-controlled mobile blending unit. For more information, visitwww.laticretesupercap.com.
