TW Flooring Group announces the launch of TW Design, a joint venture between TW Flooring Group and Natural Woods Design (NWD), a wood flooring manufacturer based in Guatemala.

William Jopling, TW Flooring Group’s CEO, said, "We have worked closely with NWD for decades and this partnership provides full OEM support for hand-work to North American wood flooring manufacturers & importers. Much of this work in the past has been done either in China or US prisons."

TW Design offers OEM services for product design, manufacturing & milling, hand scraping & staining, finishing & packaging. Typically, OEM customers provide their wood platform or lumber to fabricate the flooring faces, in which case the company will then supply the substrate and all the hand-work.

NWD, which is Italian-run, provides the underlying Guatemala-based manufacturing to TW Design, who in turn manages the customer interface & logistics from the US. Guatemala offers rapid transit from its Atlantic and Pacific coast ports – as quick as four days to Florida and US Gulf Coast ports.
