On Sept. 15 at 6:30 p.m., the Long Island Floor Covering Association (LIFCA) presents Ed Abel and "Creating Business Harmony" at Four Points by Sheraton, 333 S. Service Rd., in Plainview, N.Y. In this 60-minute presentation, attendees will learn how to shift mindsets toward thinking like a savvy business owner who sells a service and away from the limited belief of a person-for-hire, according to LIFCA.

Abel is an adjunct professor of entrepreneurial studies at New York University (NYU) as well as the director of the business division at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), where he is responsible for supporting the graduate coaches in their business development process.
