The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) has named Frank Kroupa its director of technical training. In this role, Kroupa will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the NWFA’s technical training schools.
Kroupa has more than 25 years of wood flooring experience, including sales and installation. Since 1997, he has served as an NWFA technical school instructor. He has also served on a range of NWFA committees, including Technical Education and Technical Manual, serving as both a committee member and committee chair for both.
He is an NWFACP Certified Installer, Sand and Finisher, and also holds NWFA Craftsman, Master Craftsman, Vanguard and Advanced Master degrees. Kroupa has previously served as an NWFA technical advisor since 2005, and was a teacher of reading and math to middle school students for seven years. He holds an undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and attended graduate school on the VA Bill at Boise State University.
