Burke Flooring is the latest flooring manufacturer to announce price increases. The company has announced a price increase of 4 percent across all products. The increase will be effective with shipments on March 1.

"The industry continues to see cost increases for raw materials, fuel and energy as part of a total macro trend," said Burke President Bob Pitman. "In the past it has been possible to offset a portion of rising costs by sustained growth, but we have reached a point where a price increase is inevitable."
