Pizazz Floors & Interior Design, based in the Metro Atlanta area, recently completed the final stage of a custom Georgia Bulldog office. The centerpiece of the design is a 5’ by 3’ University of Georgia logo installed into pre-existing red oak hardwood floors.

The logo is composed of select, exotic woods; the white boards are hard maple, the black boards are African wenge, and the red boards are blood wood. Surrounding the Georgia logo is an intricate French knot border, also using the red blood wood and the black wenge. After installation, the hardwood floors were sanded and sealed with three coats of polyurethane to bring out their brilliance and intensify the colors.

The installation also includes a coffered ceiling, made of multiple trim pieces configured in an octagon shape and enhanced with recessed rope lighting.

The room also features a unique coffered ceiling, made of multiple trim pieces configured in an octagon shape and enhanced with recessed rope lighting. This trim design used 8" speed base turned upside down, base cap, 5" crown with a 1 3/4" reveal for the rope lighting, and clove mold on the bottom and on the ceiling inside the octagon. The design is finished off with base cap octagon medallions. The trim pieces were painted black and the ceiling a bold red to continue the Georgia Bulldog theme.
