Bedrosianshas namedJohn Hicksas its new outside sales rep for Seattle. Hicks has 18 years of experience in the tile and stone industry, including as branch manager and outside sales representative for Daltile in the Northwest. He was also instrumental in helping Dal-Tile significantly grow their Everett, Wa., branch sales, according to Bedrosians.

Brintonscarpets has added to its Eastern regional team, appointing four new employees and a new Eastern regional sales manager. New members are:Brian Reed(Eastern Regional Sales Manager),Paul Andino(Senior Axminster Design Marine),Katie Nehrbauer(Senior Axminster Designer),Sarita Stewart(Design Consultant) andJanice Klink(Contract Sales Executive).

Andino and Nehrbauer have been recruited from Ulster Carpets where they gained considerable Axminster design experience. Stewart is rejoining Brintons after most recently working for Courtisan. She will be responsible for developing and managing key design accounts in the New York Metropolitan area.

Klink arrives at Brintons having amassed more than 20 years of experience working in the hospitality industry. Most recently she was Project Director at Strategic Hotels and also spent 15 years as Senior Project Director of Technical Assistance Services at Hyatt Hotels.

Reed has been appointed as Brintons’ new Eastern Regional Sales Manager. He has a wealth of experience in the patterned carpet market and has rejoined Brintons from Durkan. He will be responsible for design and sales activities in key markets that include New York, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago and Toronto.

Capel Rugshas promotedCameron Capelto the position of Vice President-National Accounts. In this new position, Capel will continue to manage some of the company's most important customer relationships and spearhead the development of proprietary braids for those customers. As vp, she also will serve as a primary media spokesperson for Capel Rugs.

Capel joined the company in 1990 and, as the granddaughter of company founder Leon Capel, has a lifelong connection to Capel Rugs. During her tenure at the company, Capel has served in a variety of sales and marketing positions. She most recently held the position of Director of National Accounts.


Bob Duke

Laticretehas elevatedBob Duketo the position of Laticrete Technical Support and Training Specialist for the newly formed Laticrete Specialty Products Division (SPD). Duke joined Laticrete in the Texas Region in 2005 and has enjoyed great success in his previous positions throughout the territory. In particular, Duke played an integral role in developing the materials and methods for the Laticrete MVISTM specification for the direct adhered method of thin brick, manufactured and natural thin-stone masonry veneer installation.

With 27 years of experience in the tile and stone industry, Duke now fills a national senior sales position and will work to seek out new opportunities for the Laticrete MVIS specification, as well as for additional product lines that fall under the Laticrete Specialty Products Division. Duke will also support the new Laticrete SPD initiative, providing his technical knowledge and support to new distributors, installers and design professionals across the United States.
