CMH Space Flooring Products, based in Wadesboro, N.C., has purchased Ellis Flooring Sales Co., a commercial flooring and installation supplies distributor that has served the Carolinas and Virginia for more than 50 years. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Ellis will continue to operate as an independent entity and separate commercial division of CMH Space Flooring Products, according to CMH Space ceo Hoy Lanning. He said the two companies will complement each other.

“This is an opportunity for us to strengthen our operations and logistics,” added Breck Berkey, president of the Ellis division.
