Roppe Corp.'s commercial flooring products have been approved for FloorScore Indoor Air Quality certification by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS). The FloorScore program, developed by the Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI) in conjunction with SCS, tests and certifies flooring products for compliance with indoor air quality emission requirements.

“Roppe has been in the forefront of the green movement since introducing our LEED contributable products under the EcoEffects brand in 2003 and later qualifying for CHPS compliance in 2006,” said Dee Dee Brickner, Roppe marketing coordinator. “It seemed like a natural progression for us to seek FloorScore certification as we strive to continue to be a leading flooring partner for green building designs.”

Products bearing FloorScore certification comply with standards including the volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions criteria of the California Section 01350 standard and the indoor air emissions criteria of the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS), LEED Green Building Rating Systems, and the Green Guide for Health Care.

Roppe Corp. has three manufacturing facilities within the continental United States that service the U.S. and International commercial building markets.
