Michael Franceschelli
Michael Franceschelli has been named Florida Tile's ceo and a member of its Board of Directors. He will report to Emilio Mussini, president of Panariagroup Industrie Ceramiche S.p.A., and Giuliano Pini, Panariagroup ceo.
Franceschelli, with a background in the commercial vehicle industry in private and public companies, has held progressive senior management roles at Alco Equipment (originator of the FleetPride name) and ArvinMeritor.
The Board of Directors also promoted Andrea Zanni to coo and cfo. He was most recently vp.
Reporting to Franceschelli and continuing to serve on the Executive Committee are: Massimo Barbari, exec vp sales and marketing; Bernie Schwartz, exec vp manufacturing; Luca Setti, sr. exec vp branch sales and organization; and Andrea Zanni, coo and cfo.
Barbari will continue to be responsible for distributor sales growth, business development, marketing and new product development. Schwartz remains responsible for manufacturing, research and development and continuous improvement in production capabilities. Setti will continue to be responsible for branch sales and profit growth and for all operational aspects of the branch organization. Zanni remains responsible for all financial activities of the company, and as coo is responsible for human resources, information technology, the national distribution center, real estate and product supply.
