Faus Group, Inc. said the State Intellectual Property Office (“SIPO”) in China recently granted a new patent which covers the manufacturing process for Faus' Embossed-In-Register product. "With this new granted patent, Faus will continue increasing and enforcing its patent portfolio in China," the company stated.

The company said with this patent the Embossed-In-Register manufacturing process is enforced in the People’s Republic of China "with the same scope of protection as the rest of the world." The granted patent is a Chinese counterpart to Faus’ U.S. Patent No. 6,638,387, entitled “Embossed-In-Register Manufacturing Process,” issued Oct. 28, 2003.

The granted patent is one of Faus' several issued patents and pending patent applications in China and abroad for Faus’s Embossed-In-Register, JointGuard, and related technologies for laminate flooring products, Faus noted.
