Karastan and WE Cork are two of the latest manufacturers to update their websites for easier navigation and a broader array of product information.
The new Karastan.com website features “My Karastan,” a section that allows consumers to create their own account and share their favorite Karastan carpets and rugs with family and friends.
“We are providing carpet and rug shoppers with relevant ways to find, locate and view Karastan carpets and rugs,” said Connie Berry, director of marketing. “The new Karastan.com provides carpet and rug buyers with more information and strengthens our brand identity with younger consumers.” The new site features an interactive rug planner, online catalogs as well as a new blog section that will be coming soon, according to Berry.
“We also have developed our online merchandising by grouping and displaying coordinating products, room scenes, color lines and optional shapes for each product. We provide a ‘zoom in’ feature that allows a consumer to see all the intricate details in each style,” Berry added.
A new video gallery spotlights videos on Karastan’s environmental initiatives, products and Statement Maker campaign. Karastan also has launched Designer on Call, where consumers can hire one of five featured designers to help them create their perfect Karastan room.
Finally, the new website includes a revamped Karastan retailer search. Consumers can determine, using Google Maps technology, the dealer nearest to them as well as the products the dealer carries, store hours and contact information.
