The Surfaces 2010 Attendee Advisory Council recently met in Dallas, Texas to begin planning the upcoming year’s educational program and develop ideas on how to enhance the overall program. The advisory council, comprised of members from key business segments of the floor covering industry, convenes every spring.
The Surfaces Education Program will focus on the most relevant and timely education for all floor covering professionals: retailers, distributors, installers, architects and designers, according to show organizers. The full 2010 Education Program schedule will be available in late August.
Members of the 2009-2010 Attendee Advisory Committee are: John Namba, Executive Director, Certified Floorcovering Installers; Paul Friederichsen, Owner, BrandBiz, Inc.; Christine Whittemore, Chief Simplifier, Simple Marketing Now; Scott D. Perron, President, Big Bob’s of America; Mike Micalizzi, Technical Services Manager, MAPEI Corp.; and Joan Ceccarelli, ASID, CID, Timeless Designs. “It’s an honor to serve and we all take the responsibility very seriously. This is the best forum for wide ranging, industry relevant subject matter presented by some of the top minds in floor covering,” said Friederichsen.
“The Surfaces Attendee Advisory Council are the eyes and ears of the industry and provide invaluable leadership in not only planning the education program but in generating ideas on how to continue to improve and grow the show for our attendees,” added Dana Teague, Show Director, Surfaces.
Surfaces 2010 is set for Feb. 2-4 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
