As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, Baldwin's Flooring America, the oldest flooring specialty store in Omaha, Neb., is opening a second store in Bellevue, Neb. The new store, at 3403 Samson Way in Bellevue (about 10 miles south of Omaha), will host an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. this Friday, June 26.

The 10,000 sq. ft. Bellevue store uses Flooring America's "Vision" store concept, which includes architectural elements such as open trussed ceilings, perimeter graphics that surround the display and focal walls, specially designed lighting and display flooring.

Baldwin's Flooring America sells a wide range of flooring including carpet, wood, ceramic/porcelain tile, laminate and vinyl, as well as installation services and commercial floor coverings. The Baldwin family has extensive knowledge of the flooring industry: Don Baldwin Sr. has 65 years of experience. ASdditionally, Don Jr. has worked in the industry for 37 years, David for 36, Teresa for 34, and Jim for 33. The flooring store is now into its third generation of family staffers.
