China Wood International will host the "2009 Global Flooring Fashion Trend" press meeting, March 31 at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center in China. Designed to give those on hand an in-depth look at home fashion and flooring trends in China, the event will also announce the launch of a Flooring Fashion Trend design competition.

The meeting is co-organized by Design Committee of China Building Decoration Association, Design Committee of China National Furniture Association, WWF, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, and supported by two leading Chinese flooring companies: Power Dekor and Elegant Living. The event is also co-organized with Expo Build China 2009, set for March 31-April 2 in Shanghai.

Event organizers noted they plan to make the press meeting an annual or biennial event.
