Symrna Trading Inc., a family-owned manufacturer and importer of Oriental rugs, said it is expanding to a 3,000 sq. ft. showroom in time for the Atlanta Rug Market. Housed in exhibit #603 on Floor 6, Symrna will unveil its latest products at the show set for Jan. 7-12, 2009, at AmericasMart Atlanta.
“We are a family business, and Atlanta has been our home for 22 years,” says Ahmet Icen of Smyrna Trading. “We are experiencing significant growth and know that our permanent home here is growing with us. AmericasMart is the only place to truly debut our newest creations, because our customers, both current and potential, are here.”
At the market, Symrna plans to unveil a new custom rug line from Nepal which will allow customers to pick personalized colors and patterns as well as Oushak rug designs from Turkey and India. Additionally, the rug maker plans to keep its showroom open "daily during non-Market times," to be more available to customers.
The company will celebrate its expanded showroom with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 8, in its showroom.
