Seen here is some of Shaw’s eco-friendly flooring featured in the Good Housekeeping Green House in Harlem, N.Y. Billed as the first LEED-certified single-family home in Harlem as well as “the most environmentally friendly private residence in New York City,” the home is a four-story brownstone designed with environmental sustainability in mind. A main feature of the house is Shaw’s “green” Anso nylon carpets and Grand Canyon hardwood flooring made using recycled materials.
