Marazzi celebrates Texas-sized plant expansion
Shown here are tile industry professionals touring Marazzi and Ragno USA’s newly expanded production plant at the company’s headquarters in Sunnyvale, Texas. Part of an $80 million expansion set to run through 2011, the plant features 387,000 sq. ft. of space and more than 45, 000 sq. ft. for clay storage. The plant is also equipped with four glaze lines. During the opening ceremony, company executives planted an oak tree to “signify the company’s vibrant growth over 25 years in the U.S. as well as its confidence in, and commitment to, the future of the U.S. economy.”
