For
example, we’ve recently introduced a phenomenal tool for retailers and their
customers: U Design. U Design is a
web-based, interactive design program that lets viewers “place” our laminate
flooring products in an array of room scenes.
The program gives users the ability to participate in a design
process, encouraging a more informed
and fun product selection. Retailers
benefit because it gives customers in the midst of selecting flooring the
chance to get better ideas and information.
Retailers benefit from our investment in this interactive tool, with no
cost to them. Yet they’re sure to find
consumers who’ve used U Design to be better prepared to make a purchase.
Also, we’re
consistently creating promotions to help retailers sell on the showroom
floor. This makes our Alloc and Berry
Floor products more appealing not only for consumers but for retailers as well. Our promotions are turn-key for retailers;
there is typically little or no paperwork for the retailer though they reap the
rewards of the enhanced selling opportunities that consumer promotions
provide. Likewise, we provide in-store
signage and POP to make sure retailers can easily get the word out to their
customers.
We’re
currently running a promotion called “Planks = Tanks.” Consumers earn $5 toward a gas card for
every carton of select Alloc or Berry Floor products they purchase. The consumer is responsible for submitting
the paperwork to receive the gas card, yet the retailer can use this timely,
creative promotion to bolster sales.
At Alloc
and Berry Floor, we understand that our ‘big picture’ goals must always
translate down to even the smallest retail selling location. As we develop products, enhance performance
capabilities, create merchandising and upload web content, we never lose sight
of the fact that, ultimately, it all comes down to a moment between a retailer
and a customer. Everything we do must
make that moment between sales person and consumer positive and effective, so
that the deal is sealed. We strive to
offer retailers the right product and the right support so that their jobs are
made easier, so that successful selling is a natural outcome.
As we pool
the collective resources of our two trusted brands, the ideas and opportunities
for both Alloc and Berry Floor are only getting better. By joining forces yet maintaining the
uniqueness of each brand, we’re increasing our presence in the market to offer
retailers even more product alternatives and opportunities to sell. We see our
