Organizers of UTECH Europe 2009, a major
international conference aimed at the polyurethanes sector, have issued a final
call for papers for the March 31-April 2, 2009 event. Specifically, organizers
are seeking “presentations detailing the latest advances in the production,
processing and application of polyurethanes and PU-based products.” Deadline is
March 20, 2008.
Patrick Thomas, CEO
of leading raw materials supplier Bayer MaterialScience AG, is set to give the
keynote at a conference that will partly focus on “the sustainability of the PU
sector and its products.” The event, which will run alongside a show for “raw
materials, processing equipment and other services to the PU sector,” is
expected to draw more than 3,500 specialists.
The three-day show is
scheduled for the Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Centre in the Netherlands.
