Highly regarded industry executive Edward Muchnick, chief financial officer of CCA Global Partners, died July 17 due to complications from cancer. He was 62.

Muchnick, who helped pioneer CCA’s entrance into technological information systems including its websites, is remembered by friends and colleagues for his generosity and warm sense of humor. News of his death came during CCA’s summer convention in Cincinatti.

He is survived by his wife Andrea; sons Loren and Marc; brother David; grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Katie, Jack and Elizabeth; and extended family.
