National Gypsum has signed an agreement with Bonsal American to supply cement backer board for the building material products maker. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"We are pleased to have National Gypsum as a marketing partner," said Kevin McFadden, director of marketing for Bonsal tile products. "National Gypsum has excellent quality products, packaging and customer service, which is consistent with the way we do business at Bonsal American."

National Gypsum makes PermaBase cement backer board, featuring the EdgeTech double-wrapped edge for closer fastening, the company says. The technology is designed to virtually eliminate crumbling and blowout.

Bonsal American and National Gypsum are both headquartered in Charlotte, N.C.
