Robina Floors line of wood
flooring has been certified as meeting the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
Chain-of-Custody requirements for its factory in Shanghai. The distinction is
based on “the path wood products take from the forest to the consumer,
including all manufacturing, transformation and distribution links.” The
certification also guarantees the authenticity of the wood’s origin.
The company said the core of its prefinished engineered wood
flooring line relies on a tree that is fast growing and abundant. Adhesives
used on the products have also been formulated to contain virtually no
emissions, the company noted.
