Logility recognizes Shaw for supply chain excellence

Shaw Industries has received the 2006 Sailing to New Heights with Logility Award for supply chain excellence. Logility, which bestowed the award, is a supplier of collaborative supply chain enhancement technologies.

According to Logility, Shaw Industries implemented the company's Voyager Solutions program to "gain better control of its inventory investment by improving the prediction of demand, enabling one-number forecasting and gaining a better handle shifting demand in the marketplace."

"Shaw has demonstrated a commitment to supply chain excellence and continuous improvement as they address the unique needs of a variety of businesses and channels," said Mike Edenfield, Logility president and CEO.
