Spurred on by a first-quarter double-digit sales increase, hardwood flooring maker Lauzon has brought two new senior managers on board and promoted a third. As part of a restructuring, Lauzon's sales and marketing department will be split, with each area to be headed by one of the newly named vice presidents.

Joining the company is Louis Morin, who has been named vp, strategic and international development. Morin was formerly with Boa-Franc/Mirage for 11 years. Also, René Dionne has been named vp, marketing. He formerly held the same position at Venmar Ventilation and Broan Nutone Canada.

To lead the sales side, Lauzon has promoted Robert Coveney to senior vp, sales, where he will oversee the Lauzon, Eterna and Dubeau sales organizations. Previously he was vp sales & marketing.
