Shaw Industries Inc. and GE Card Services have announced a revitalization effort and reorganization of some of the operations within GE Card Services. The program enhancements are projected to have a beneficial impact on Shaw’s card dealer sales, cash flow, processing costs, and service support. The transition to the enhanced Shaw credit program will be accomplished over a period of months to ensure a seamless changeover for dealers, the company says.

Key improvements to the program include: reduced everyday promotional pricing; new state-of-the-art equipment with address verification service technology; complete electronic processing; one-stop service support for dealer inquiries; 100% daily funding of sales; and lower minimum monthly payments for cardholders, the company says.

Additional benefits are also being offered, such as VISA/Mastercard Address Verification and “Meet the Sale” logic. The new “Meet the Sale” feature can systematically assign qualified applicants a higher line of credit that accommodates the initial purchase when requested by the dealer. The improvements involve Shaw dealers nationwide.
