Ancient Chinese Elm flooring, milled by Virginia-based Mountain Lumber, is a rich, butterscotch color with deep swirls of chocolate grain. The size of the logs -- up to 20 feet long and 25 inches in diameter -- yields especially wide planks. Mountain Lumber reclaims antique wood and transforms it into flooring, beams and other architectural details.
